University Exhibition

Testbed was the title of a series of exhibitions in collaboration with all MA students in the School of Art and Design at Cardiff University during the second semester. The exhibition ran over a period of three weeks for each group. Students with similar topics or artistic roots were grouped together. Our group focused on environmental issues, bringing together students from different fields. I seized this opportunity to create one of the components of my MA project: the Hello Bello package—a card designed for adults.
The card featured protest art titled "I lost my umbrella," depicting plastic raining onto the defenseless umbrellas of humans. I brightened the broken umbrella’s legs with vibrant colors to emphasize that the fantasy world we imagine isn't permanent. This artwork serves as a gentle reminder that the pursuit of luxury often comes at the expense of the environment. Every indulgent desire we chase has a cost, leading to environmental damage. Our world is drowning in plastic!
